Adena has been updated to v1.17.0 as of May 8th, 2025.

This patch introduces a notification feature and two security-related updates to make Adena more user-friendly while enhancing security. Read on to discover how.

Patch Notes

1. New Features

• Chrome Web Notification— A new feature that notifies you of the result of your transaction. Broadcast a transaction with Adena and you’ll receive a pop‑up showing whether it succeeded or failed, along with the transaction hash. Click the notification to open GnoScan for full details. Try it in Users realm by clicking the [Click here to register] transaction link. (View update)

• Seed Verification Process — During wallet creation, Adena now asks for two randomly selected words from your seed phrase to ensure you retain full control of your recovery phrase. You must enter both words before proceeding. (View update)

  
  

2. Minor Updates

• Handling Transaction Simulation Timing — We fixed a timing issue that prevented transactions from being re‑simulated after you changed arguments. Every adjustment now triggers an accurate simulation, so you always know what to expect before you broadcast. (View update)

• Remove Questionnaire Step in Exporting Keys — Security matters, but repeating the same questionnaire for every key creation and export proved tedious. We’ve removed that extra step for the export while still reminding you of best‑practice safety tips — saving clicks without compromising awareness. (View update)
